Rajesh babu Shrestha elected as president of Nepal Physical bodybuilding & Fitness Federation
KATHMANDU:The Nepal Physical Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation has elected Rajesh babu Shrestha as its president. Shrestha was elected president of the federation during its first general assembly on Sunday.
The federation elected Bijaya lal Kayastha as senior vice president, Sujan Lama as vice president, Roshan Maharjan as vice president, and Ajay Bajracharya as general secretary. Similarly, Dinesh Kumar Rajbhandari has been elected Secretary, and Balram Subedi has been elected Treasurer.
Members of the federation include Dinesh Shrestha, Rajkumar Shrestha, Babukaji Manandhar, Naresh Kumar Malla, Amrit Rokaya Chhetri, Rajesh Ratna Bajracharya, Durga Bahadur Shrestha, Nanita Maharjan, and Binita Rai.
According to the accepted constitution of the federation, Rajesh Upadhyay was nominated as vice president in the first meeting of the newly elected working committee, and 7 members were nominated. Gyanendra Nakarmi, Naveen Ale Magar, Prajwal Rai, Nirmala Maharjan, Renuka Shrestha, Rachna Shrestha, and Debika Rai are the nominees.
Similarly, Rajan Kumar Shrestha has been appointed as Wagmati coordinator, Situ Prasad Shrestha as Lumbini coordinator, Okil (Shankar) Man Tuladhar Udas as Gandaki coordinator, and Ramesh Kumar KC as Karnali coordinator. The federation now has four state organizations and thirty district associations, and the working committee's term of service will be four years.
