NAC to begin two weekly flights from Resunga Airport in Gulmi

KATHMANDU, June 13:There will be two flights per week from Gulmi's Resunga airport.Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will begun two weekly flights from Gulmi's Resunga Airport. Previously, NAC only flew one flight per week on Friday.

The number of passengers has increased significantly since regular flight services have begun from the district. Despite the plane's capacity of 18 seats, 60 to 70 individuals requested seats from the district.

Khil Dhwaj Panthi, the mayor of Resunga Municipality, revealed that the additional Nepal Airlines flight is scheduled for Wednesdays. Resunga Airport will now have two weekly flights, on Wednesday and Friday.

The cost of a one-way ticket from Resunga Airport to Kathmandu is Rs 6,300 per person. Similarly, the charge from Kathmandu to Resunga Airport has been set at 6,500 rupees.

The flight from Kathmandu to Resunga Airport is planned to depart at 6:30 a.m. and return to Kathmandu at 7:45 a.m. It takes 50 minutes to go from Kathmandu to Resunga Airport.
