Bike ride for tourism promotion
KATHMANDU, May 31: A bike ride was organized to promote homestays, which are considered significant for tourism and culture.
According to Revz Motor, the event titled Rev Up On Homestays will see the riders approach the important places in several regions.
On Monday, Chandra Rijal, vice president of the Nepal Tourism Board, given best wishes the riders who were going on a journey to promote homestays.
The journey, which began in Kathmandu on Monday, will conclude with visits to homestays in five districts. Rainaskot in Lamjung, Lwang in Kaski, Sirubari in Syangja, Gumbu in Palpa, and Meghauli in Chitwan will be visited by the riders.
Various cultural programs and tastings of local dishes are expected to take place throughout the homestay.
