NATTA Koshi and NTB to promotes Nepal in India’s cities
KATHMANDU, May 22: Nepal Tourism Board and Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) Koshi Province will organize the Nepal Sales Mission in India program.
Surya Thapaliya, Sales and Marketing Manager of Nepal Tourism Board, stated that a Nepal promotion program will be organized from May 22 to 27 in Siliguri, Guwahati, Assam, and Silong, Meghalaya.
The program will be attended by 20 people, including representatives from Nepal Tourism Board, Tourism Office, Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Natta) Koshi Province, owners of travel agencies in Koshi Province, and journalists, according to Uday Kumar Shrestha, President of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Natta) Koshi Province.
The program, according to Surya Thapaliya, Sales and Marketing Manager of Nepal Tourism Board, will be held with the goal of luring Indian tourists into the country, including Koshi Province.
According to Uday kumar Shrestha, president of NATTA Koshi province, a business-to-business program will be held in India's Shilgadi, Guwahati of Assam, and Silong of Meghalaya, with travel agencies, large hotel owners, employees, people related to various businesses, education, and health sectors.
He stated that the scheme was created to encourage more Indian tourists to visit Koshi region and Nepal.

Navin Kharel, General Secretary of NATTA Koshi Province, indicated that he is providing Indian tourists with information about the religious and tourism areas of the Koshi region and encouraging them to visit those areas.
He also stated that he intends to organize the program with the hope that the financial troubles that the businessmen are experiencing will be alleviated.
In the program, Gopal Bhandari, a Nepal Tourism Board official, and Shekhar Dhakal, an advisor, among others, stated that through such a program, tourism activities in Koshi Province and Nepal will increase, as will the arrival of Indian tourists, Nepali tourism businessmen will earn money, and Nepali tourist destinations will be promoted. He stated that it is possible.
