IME India opens new branch in Delhi

KATHMANDU: IME India Pvt Ltd has opened a branch in New Delhi, India's capital. In New Delhi, a new branch has opened on Connaught Place-Barakhamba Road. Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepali Ambassador to India, officially opened the branch on May 184th.

IME India has announced that it will offer cross-border money transfers between India and Nepal through its new branch in conjunction with Foreign Exchange and IDFC Bank.

Ambassador Sharma stated during the bank's inauguration that he expects the new branch will enable Nepalis and Indians in Delhi provide remittance services and cross-border money transfers.

Hemraj Dhakal, Managing Director of IME Group, stated at the time that there is a plan to spread the service to other locations of India. Dhakal stated that this will make it easier for Nepalis in India to send money safely and quickly.
