Bishnu Prasad Upadhyaya appointed as CEO of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya

KATHMANDU:Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha ltd.(GLBSL)'s Chief Executive Officer has been appointed Bishnu Prasad Upadhyay.

According to company secretary Bhesh Bahadur Basnet, the company 's board of directors met on Tuesday and resolved to appointed Upadhyay as CEO for the next four years.

Siraha Municipality Ward No. 1 and currently residing in Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Upadhyay has gained 21 years of work experience from Deputy Manager, Manager and Senior Manager to Chief Executive Officer in Nepal Insurance Company and 4 years of work experience as reinsurance expert and company secretary in Nepal Reinsurance Company. 

The high level of leadership abilities and professional experience of Upadhyay, who has finished his studies from the faculty of management up to his master's degree, is expected to propel Gurans Laghubitta to new heights.

Dhankuta District Dhankuta Municipality Ward No. 7 Dhankuta Bazar Central Office and the  Laghubitta with its corporate office in Budhiganga Rural Municipality Ward No. 1, Pushpalal Chowk, Biratnagar, Morang, has been providing Laghubitta services to more than 20,000 families through 33 branch offices in 12 districts of Koshi Province.
