MoU between Citizens Bank and Annapurna cable car

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited and Pokhara-based Annapurna Cable Car Pvt. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding. After signing the MoU, Citizens Bank cardholders will get an attractive discount of up to 25 percent on Annapurna cable cars.

Customers who open new accounts at Citizens Bank in Pokhara will also receive free Annapurna cable car tickets. The bank believes that this type of collaboration will benefit the bank's customers and will boost digital transactions over cash transactions. The bank has been developing customer-friendly facilities on a regular basis in order to expand the use of digital banking channels and encourage consumers to make payments online.

Citizens Bank International Limited has been offering modern banking services to more than 1.54 million customers across the country through its 182 branches, 139 ATM 3 extension counters, and 97 branchless banking units.
