Citizens Bank  provided scholarships to two organizations

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International Limited has provided scholarships to HIV-infected children.

A cheque of 200,000 has been handed over as financial support to Baby Life Home, which provides care, health treatment, education and entertainment. The bank is celebrating its sixteenth annual festival on 20th April, on the same occasion, it has provided financial support to this institution. It has been providing accessible banking services to the doorsteps of Nepali people for the past sixteen years continuously with the slogan of 'Your companion of progress'.

During a ceremony, the bank handed over a check of two lakhs to Rajkumar Pun, director of the organization. Rajkumar Pun, director of the organization, informed that the money will be spent on the education and health treatment of 27 HIV-infected children in the Baby Life Home.

Similarly, through the Karnali Region Tourism and Cultural Reservation Center, 2 students studying in the 3-year diploma program in Forestry at Chandannath High School and in the 3-year diploma program in Botany at Madan Bhandari Agricultural Technical School have been awarded a scholarship worth one lakh rupees.

Every year, on the occasion of its annual festival, the bank has been providing financial support to organizations working for social transformation. As a continuation of this, the bank has transferred the aid amount according to its annual schedule.

Citizens Bank International Limited has been providing modern banking services to more than 1.54 million customers through its 182 branches, 139 ATM 3 extension counters and 97 branchless banking units spread across the country.
