Nabil Bank publishes Nepali new year calendar on climate change awareness

KATHMANDU:Nabil Bank has published a new calendar for 2080 BS. According to the bank, the calendar includes information about climate change awareness and environmental advocacy.

The calendars show images of weather and natural beauty for each month of the year, as well as an appeal for environmental protection. Similarly, the calendars feature images of the stunning mountain range, soaring birds, and the rare snow leopard.

On the eve of the Nepali New Year, Nabil Bank's Chief Executive Officer Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer Sujit Kumar Shakya, and Deputy Chief Executive Officers Binaya Kumar Regmi and Bhupendra Pandey launched the wall calendar and table calendar.

The photographs were created in collaboration with the  International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).

CEO Dhungana expressed gratitude to the  International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) for providing some of the photographs. Nabil also recently released a paper on greenhouse gas emissions.
