Sunathrali Airport in Kalikot completed

KALIKOT, April 11:After 37 years of construction, Sunathrali Airport in Kalikot has been completed. The airport's construction began in 2042 and was completed in 2079. This airport is now awaiting the arrival of the plane.

On January 29, 2073, 33 years after the construction of the airport in Narharinath rural municipality-1 of Kalikot district began, a test flight was conducted on the unpaved runway. The plane has not arrived since then. Now the airport is marked with Blacktopping.

There is talk that the official flight will start on the 14th of April 2023, but no concrete decision has been made. Locals believe that if the airport comes into operation, it will help in the promotion of tourism in Triveni Patan, Badimalika.
