Nepal Telecom condemns the littering to incident in Birgunj Office

KATHMANDU:The Nepal Telecom has raised serious concerns about an incident in which a group of 15/20 unauthorized people threw garbage at 5/7 tractors inside the office premises of Nepal Telecom's regional directorate in Birgunj, Madhesh province, at around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

This information was provided in a press release issued by Nepal Telecom.

"As a result of this incident by the group, which is opposed to the campaign to build a clean and beautiful city in the metropolis, the environment of the directorate has become smelly and has an adverse effect on health, and the working environment of the office has also been negatively affected," the statement said.

"Condemning the said unlimited work, the company wishes to draw the attention of all parties involved in order to prevent such unwelcome incidents from occurring in the future." Shobhan Adhikari, a Nepal Telecom spokesperson, issued a statement.
