50 climbers granted permission to Scale Mountain Peaks in spring season

KATHMANDU, March 21: To climb the mountain, 50 climbers have been granted permission. 50 climber from 7 teams have been given permission by the Department of Tourism for the spring season.

For five mountains, 33 men and 17 women have received permission. Annapurna first has the highest number of climbing permits.

34 climbers have been granted permission to ascend Annapurna, as well as Surma Sarovar, Pangri Goldumba, three Manaslu peaks, and five Thorong Peak peaks.

From the permit fee, the tourism department has received royalty payments totaling 12.8 million.
