Ashok Sherchan elected President of Nepal-Russia Chamber of Commerce
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Russia Chamber of Commerce's new president is Ashok Sherchan. A new working committee led by Banker Sherchan was elected at the general assembly held on Sunday.
The 26-member working committee was elected without opposition, according to a statement from the Nepal Russia Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to Bishnuhari Pandey being elected as general secretary, Yamuna Shrestha as treasurer, and Anurag Goyal and Avinash Silwal as secretaries, Diwas Amatya was chosen as senior vice president and Kumar Karki and Nimanuru Sherpa as vice presidents.
Amrit Khadka, Anil Manandhar, Anuj Bhattarai, Deepakraj Bhusal, Dr. Vijay Thapa, Dr. Maniram Pokhrel, and Dr. Unnat Shrestha are all members of the association's executive committee.
In addition to Gore Sherpa, the executive committee also includes Manoj Rasaili, Praveen Gauchan, Pranilman Singh Pradhan, Ravi Thapa, Rupak Rajvanshi, Sanchit Bajracharya, and Saroj Pandey. Naresh Lal Shrestha, the former president of Commerce, is an honorary member as is Rajeshkaji Shrestha.
