Five-day homestay management training completed at Dhande

SYANGJA, March 18: A five-day homestay management training has been completed in Syangja at Putalibazar 5 Bimdi Dhande.

A seven-day homestay management training program was completed at Bimdi Dhande Hulak Community Homestay, Syangja District Putalibazar Municipality Ward No. 5, as part of the revitalization program for livelihoods run by Cooperation Society Nepal in collaboration with UNDP and Nepal Tourism Board.

Certificates were distributed to 40 participants in the program held under the chief hospitality of Honorable Member of Gandaki Provincial Assembly Sudhir Kumar Paudel and special hospitality of Putalibazar Municipality Mayor Tulsiram Regmi.

Sudhir Kumar Paudel, a member of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly, stated that the homestay should be unique. In a similar event, Putalibazar town chief Tulsiram Regmi stated that the municipality will support the promotion of homestays because they allow women to become self-sufficient. He stated that the Bimdi Dhande community homestay will continue because the Magar community has its own language and culture.

Chief trainer Bhumraj Tiwari provided training, and Urmila Gurung, the manager of Sirubari community homestay, Nepal's first homestay, was also present.

The training program was attended by managers from Millennium Homestay, Sadi River Bharkot Dhanwa, and Bindi Dhande Hulak Community Homestay. During the training period, a study and observation visit to Sirubari Homestay was also completed.
