NMB Bank to provides incentive awards to 16 National Cricket Players

KATHMANDU: NMB Bank has announced that each member of the participating team will receive 21 thousand rupees for their outstanding performance in the World Cricket League-2.

Sunil KC, the bank's CEO, stated that the award was given as an incentive to keep morale high because the players are the pride of the nation.

"With the advancement of the players and the world of sports in mind, we have taken this step with the intention of providing honor and encouragement to 16 talented players," he explained.

Nepal has won 18 of the 35 matches in the World Cricket League-2, which began in 2019, and has also won today's final match.

Nepal has qualified for the global qualifiers by winning today. Nepal will also have the opportunity to play against various test nations for the first time.

The bank believes that the cash prize will motivate them to play better in the next game.

According to the bank's executive officer, the prize money will be transferred through the bank account opened in the names of all 16 players.
