Re-tendering for contract to operate hangar at Pokhara International Airport

KATHMANDU, March 16: The contract was re-called after no contract was awarded in the initial tender for the operation of the hangar at Pokhara International Airport.

When the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)published a notice calling for bids on January 8th for the first time, no bids were received within the time frame specified.

The CAAN stated that no bids were received when the contract for the operation of aircraft maintenance services in the airport's hangar building with an area of 6343 square meters was invited.

The contract was called after no contract was awarded in the tender for the operation of the hangar at Pokhara International Airport.

After failing to receive any bids within the deadline, the Authority issued a new notice on March 14th and solicited bids. On Tuesday, the authority issued a notice calling for bids to be submitted within 15 days.
