Interaction between merchant bankers and DP and share registrar employees
KATHMANDU: In collaboration with CDS and Clearing Limited, the Nepal Merchant Bankers Association arranged a one-day engagement interaction with the interaction between merchant bankers and DP and share registrar employees of merchant bankers.
The interaction about the technical and practical issues merchants face when providing DP and share registrar services to customers, as well as potential solutions to those issues, was held last Friday at Kathmandu with the participation of all DP and share registrar service provider organizations.
In line with the policies, rules, processes, and instructions given from time to time by the regulatory body, DP and share registrar service provider organizations have been offering services to their customers utilizing the system provided by the regulatory body. Coordination between merchant bankers and CDS is used for daily tasks.
All DP and share registrar service providers must deal with a similar set of technical and operational challenges on a regular basis since the services offered by all merchant banking institutions are comparable.
With the interactive program, which concentrated on the practical and technical challenges faced when delivering DP and share registrar services, it was highlighted how these issues may be handled by group collaboration and how everyone can swiftly offer their clients high-quality services.
Participating in the program were 46 personnel from 25 DP and share registrar service providers.
