3500 female traveling on Buddha Air received books

KATHMANDU, March 09: On the occasion of Women's Day, Buddha Air gave female passengers books by female authors of various genres.

Buddha, in collaboration with Sangrila Books and Nepal Republic Media, gave the passengers 3,500 books of various genres written by women writers.

Novels, biographies, autobiographies, poems, and narrative and non-narrative books by 17 women writers were among the gifts.

The company said that the book was given as a gift to the passengers traveling from Biratnagar, Janakpur, Nepalganj, Surkhet and Dhangadhi along with Kathmandu with the slogan 'Nepali women read and fly too'.
