Annapurna Cable Car passengers receive a 50% discount
POKHARA: The Annapurna Cable Car in Pokhara has announced significant discounts on cable cars beginning Monday (March 6), making sightseeing around Pokhara easier.
This scheme was launched on Monday for Nepali tourists visiting Pokhara. This arrangement was made by the company to promote domestic tourism in Pokhara.
Damodar Timilsina, Annapurna Cable Car's head of administration, stated that a discount of up to 50% has been applied to the previously fixed rate.
Tourists who want to watch the sunrise from Sarangkot will pay only 400 for a two-way ticket, according to the company. Previously, the rent was 700 rupees per month. The company stated that it will provide tourists with convenience by offering significant discounts.
The two-way fare has been set at 350 rupees in order to target disabled people. Students and children receive similar discounts. A two-way fare of Rs 400 and a one-way fare of Rs 200 has been fixed for students and children from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The 'break' time is kept from 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm. The old fare has been reinstated from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. At this time, the two-way fare for disabled, children, and students is 700 rupees.
This service will be offered, just as the morning service, from 2 to 6 p.m., according to Annapurna Cable Car.
You can only get by automobile from Seti Bagar in the popular tourist destination of Pokhara to Sarangkot. This service for Suryadarshan and sunset viewing is provided by the cable car.
Aside from the beautiful scenery, this location allows for close observation of many mountains, including Annapurna.
Previously, Annapurna Cable Car offered various discounts and launched a special bus service for passengers.Domestic and foreign tourists, according to the company, benefit from this as well.
