Dharan needs to develop into a tourism hub: Tourism Minister Kirati

DHARAN, March 06: Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kiranti has said that Dharan should be made a 'hub' of tourism.

At the closing ceremony of Dharan Expo-2079, Minister Kiranti said that using eastern religious places and the Saptakoshi waterway, Dharan should be made a tourism hub and marketed indigenous products.

He emphasized that technology-friendly farmers, entrepreneurs, businessmen should all work for the sustainable development of tourism.

Hark Sampang, mayor of Dharan sub-metropolitan city, said that it is necessary to make a rule that production-oriented businesses and businessmen cannot take the capital earned by investment out of Dharan.
