Two female pilots of NAC conduct international flight for first time

KATHMANDU, March 05: For the first time in the history of Nepal Airlines Corporation (Nepal Airlines), two female pilots have flown an international flight. The flight was conducted by the team of Captain Bhawana Pant along with co-pilot Srijana Raut.

Pilot Bhawna Pant said that two women pilots flew together for the first time on a flight from Kathmandu to Dubai on Sunday.

According to Pilot Pant  this is a historic moment in Nepal aviation. She wrote on the social network Facebook, "Historical moment in Nepal aviation." For the first time in Nepal Airlines Corporation, the history has been created that both female pilots of the national flag flew together on an international flight from Kathmandu to Dubai.

Pilot Bhawna has been associated with Nepal's aviation sector for the past 25 years. On Sunday at 12:04 am, the Airbus a320 took off from Kathmandu-UAE. There were 153 passengers on board.

The NAC said that this team will return to Kathmandu with passengers on next Wednesday's flight. According to the corporation, all the crew members on this flight will be women on International Women's Day on Wednesday.
