Sunrise Capital opens sale of 'Sunrise Focused Equity Fund
KATHMANDU:Sunrise Capital has opened the sale of 'Sunrise Focused Equity Fund' under Sunrise Mutual Fund.
So far, 19 thousand 783 people have applied for 1 crore 41 lakh 37 thousand 970 units in this scheme, which opened for sale five days ago. Applications for this scheme can be made till February 7th.
Sunrise Bank is the fund promoter of the scheme and Sunrise Capital is the scheme manager.
Under the plan, 120 million units worth 1.2 billion are going to be issued.
Of which 15 percent has been reserved for the unit fund promoter Sunrise Bank and the remaining 102 million units have been opened for general sale.
The maturity period of the scheme will be 10 years from the date of allotment of units.
The company invests the amount raised through this mutual fund in stocks of 30 companies that can provide high returns.
The company said that it will invest by conducting fundamental and technical analysis of the listed companies after extensive study, research and analysis of the dynamics of the capital market.
According to Capital, this fund aims to give an average annual return of 29.66 percent.
It is estimated that 85%, 10% and 5% of the funds collected during the financial projection will be invested in equity, fixed income instruments and call bank accounts respectively.
