KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Kathmandu Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu are bringing Kyohei San from Japan to create an Experience and Learn over Japanese Cooking Class. It’ll bring great networking and learning time for all Japanese Food Lovers.

Japanese cuisines are world-renowned and stand a strong bond in the heart of people around the globe. May it be Miso Cucumber, Yasai Curry, Sushi, or more, every dish has its taste and flavor to cherish.

Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Umami, and Kokumi are the 06 basic Senses of Taste in Japanese Cuisine. Every dish needs to be prepared with a balance of the right taste that comes with the right ingredients added up and accurate cooking methods.

Kyohei San will talk about Japanese culture and the basics of cooking at home during the cooking class which will enlighten your knowledge and advances your Japanese dish cooking at home. He’ll also explain Umami which is one of the six basic tastes that has been described as savory and is characteristic of broths and cooked meats. It corresponds to the flavor of glutamates, especially monosodium glutamate.
