BAAN forms nomination board

 

KATHMANDU, Dec 01: A nomination board has been formed for 'Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Award Nepal (BAAN) 2022'.

Pawana Shrestha, Executive Director of Sea Links Group of companies and Former Country Manager of Etihad Airways, Geeta Dhakal, Joint Treasurer of Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATTA), Baba Sarkar Shrestha, President of Active Women of Nepal (AWON), Amit Agarwal, Co-founder of Khalti, Photographer​​​​​​​ Rajbhai Suwal, Nepali film Actor Barsa Raut, Bead Adhikari, In flight chef, Manish Modi, Co-founder of Sparrow SMS ​​​​​​​and Sapila Rajbhandari, Former vice president of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA)​​​​​​​are on the nomination board.

Lalchandra Gautam,vice chairman of the organizing committee, has said that the board has been formed with the aim of making the awards transparent, clean, easy and dignified.

The award was organized with the intention of bringing the Nepali tourism sector to the attention of the media around the world and making the sector more consumer-oriented and responsive to the people while appreciating the contribution made by the air sector in the Nepali tourism sector.

The award will be held on December 13. According to the organizers, awards will be distributed in 16 different categories to the airlines flying in Nepali skies.
