Buddha  Air asked CAAN for ground handling of Pokhara Int'l Airport

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Buddha Air has submitted an application to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for ground handling for domestic and international flights operated from Pokhara Airport.

Buddha Air has said that all internal preparations have been made for Pokhara International Airport to start from January 1, 2023.

Buddha Air said that this infrastructure has been realized after many years of hard work and expenses.

Now it is said that the way to bring more tourists (domestic and international) into Pokhara and Gandaki province is by making full use of this airport.

It is mentioned in the statement issued by Buddha Air that the way to raise the standard of living of Gandaki province and every Nepali and to create wealth will also be opened.

From the beginning of this international airport, Buddha Air has made a schedule of 300 flights a week with five planes night and day.

In which domestic flights will be made every day from Nepalganj, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur and Bhadrapur.

He will fly to
Varanasi, India three days a week on the international side.

Likewise, Buddha Air has submitted an application to the concerned authorities for permission to fly to New Delhi, India, twice a day and Dehradun three days a week.

Buddha Air's technical team is also studying what types of planes can be used for international flights from Pokhara International Airport located in Sano Valley.

The statement also mentions that Buddha Air will move towards this direction in the near future.

According to Air, the new airport has been built at a high cost and it will also cost more to operate and it is necessary to integrate the ground handling system of the airport to reduce the cost.

Buddha Air has its own ground handling to its destinations across the country.

It is said that Buddha has a long experience and sufficient manpower.

Buddha Air has submitted a proposal for ground handling work at Pokhara International Airport to CAAN.

In a statement, Buddha Air has also stated that it is committed to providing cheap but quality ground handling arrangements for domestic and international air services.
