Cake mixing celebration at Chandragiri Hills Resort

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Chandragiri hills resort held traditional cake mixing celebration on November 23rd, gearing up for the Christmas season. Fruit soaking or Cake mixing is a Christmas tradition where various fruits and nuts are soaked in alcohol to make a special Christmas pudding. It has evolved into the famous soaking and stirring activity nowadays after which the guests feast on the final product. For this event a variety of assorted dry fruits such as almonds, pistachios, walnuts, cashew nuts and various fruits were used with a cocktail mix of multiple beverages.

The resort celebrated the festive occasion with popular actor Salon Basnet, his fiancé Karisma K.C., GM Mr. Sanjeev Thapa, Head of Sales and Marketing Mr. Prabhakar Khadka, staff of Chandragiri hills and IME group, along with various media personnel. There was also a beautiful display of cocktails along with a buffet feast.
