NAC urges ground handling of Pokhara International Airport from CAAN
KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC)has urged to give the ground handling work of the newly built Pokhara International Airport to them.
NAC has been handling the ground handling of Gautam Buddha International Airport as well.
NAC has stated that it has a long managerial experience in the ground handling work that it is currently doing, the corresponding skilled manpower and the availability of necessary technical and resources.
NAC also said that its ground handling service is of international standard. NAC has also requested Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)to take over the Pokhara airport as it is capable of providing ground services for domestic airlines as well.
NAC has been operating international flights to 10 destinations.
Similarly,NAC has said that 14 flights have been cut due to CAAN and this has caused problems due to the contraction in income.
