Dabali culture to be restored:Deputy Mayor Dangol

KATHMANDU, Sep 27: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor  Sunita Dangol has said that the Dabali culture will be restored.

On the occasion of World Tourism Day-2022, she said this while addressing a program organized by the Heritage and Tourism Department of the Metropolitan City in Basantpur on Tuesday.

Dawbli the place to expand abstract culture. The art displayed by this will not only make the city alive. It also makes it known all over the world. Therefore, we will work throughout the year by connecting the idea of restoring Dawbli with tourism," Dangol said.

In the event, Ashaman Sangat, coordinator of the Heritage and Tourism Committee and chairman of Ward 8, said that tourism should be expanded by promoting the vibrant cultural city.

Art festival in Basantpur

An art festival has been organized in Basantpur on the occasion of Tourism Day. At the festival, wooden, metal, stone and clay materials related to the rituals, culture and life of Kathmandu were put up for display and sale.
