NTB concludes successful participation at CMT 2025

KATHMANDU, Jan 29:Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in partnership with the Nepal German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NGCCI), stated a successful conclusion of the Caravan, Motor, and Tourism Fair (CMT) 2025, which took place from January 18 to January 26 at Messe Stuttgart, Germany. 

CMT, the world's largest public trade exhibition for tourism and leisure, attracted over 260,000 people, reinforcing its position as a crucial industry platform for the upcoming travel season.

NTB’s stall, located at Hall 6F45, was a focal point of the event, drawing significant interest from European travelers keen to explore Nepal’s unique offerings. Representing Nepal’s diverse tourism products were seven leading travel trade companies:

Throughout the nine-day event, NTB showcased Nepal as a premier long-haul destination, highlighting the country’s rich cultural heritage, unparalleled natural beauty, and adventure opportunities. Special emphasis was placed on sustainable tourism, aligning with the growing global interest in responsible travel.

The response from visitors at the Nepal stall was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing strong interest in Nepal as a travel destination. Some visitors had already booked their trips, while others arrived with specific questions about travel options, reflecting a well-informed audience eager to explore Nepal. The demand for Nepal as a long-distance destination exceeded expectations, reinforcing its growing appeal among European travelers.

The vibrant atmosphere at the Nepal stall and the high level of engagement from visitors have been immensely encouraging. Our participation at CMT 2025 has not only strengthened Nepal’s position as a top travel destination but also deepened our ties with the European tourism industry.

NTB and the participating companies expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of CMT 2025, where they experienced productive discussions and significant interest in their products and services. This success positions Nepal as a preferred destination for European travelers, paving the way for enhanced visitor arrivals in the coming seasons.
