Best Western Plus Kathmandu Hotel opens in Pingalasthan

KATHMANDU, Jan 24:A four-star hotel, Best Western Plus Kathmandu, was opened in Pingalasthan, Kathmandu.

KMC Group's founders have launched 'Best Western Plus Kathmandu' in collaboration with the world-renowned American brand. Badri Pandey, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, was inaugurated the four-star chain hotel on Wednesday.

With the opening of this hotel, KMC Group, which is at the forefront of Nepal's education sector, has increased its investment in the hotel industry. This four-star chain hotel brings the world-renowned American brand Best Western Plus to Nepal for the first time.  It is said that this hotel aims to provide services to guests in a way that makes every experience memorable through original and warm hospitality.

At the inaugural ceremony, Minister Pandey wished them success and expressed his belief that this hotel, established by professionals in the educational sector, will benefit the country's economy. He expressed his hope that this hotel, which was established to highlight the country's uniqueness, will deliver excellent hospitality to travelers, resulting in a positive perception of Nepal. He also stated that the private sector has contributed to the country's tourist growth.

Minister Pandey also stated that the government is supporting private-sector investment in the tourism industry. He stated that the government will always seek proposals from the private sector on how to develop policies, regulations, institutions, and culture to promote tourism, and that the government will move forward positively in response.

Rameshwor Aryal, Chairman of 'Best Western Plus Kathmandu', stated at the occasion that the KMC Group has grown to be the nation's largest educational network and that the hotel would now generate a lot of jobs.  He stated that this hotel can currently able to provide employment to 150 people, and that another five-star hotel will be established shortly in Bagbazar, Kathmandu.

This project got an investment of one and a half billion rupees from public limited company.

This hotel is conveniently located near Tribhuvan International Airport and Pashupatinath Temple, providing easy access to Kathmandu's major tourist attractions, cultural heritage sites, and business centers.

The hotel features two excellent restaurants and a rooftop bar. The Sunrise Cafe and the La-Vista Rooftop Restaurant both have a capacity of 140 people. From here, there is a panoramic view of Kathmandu.

The hotel features two halls that can accommodate up to 1,250 guests. Conferences, business programs, and social events can be organized.

The hotel's amenities include a fitness center, health club, spa, steam room, sauna, and outdoor swimming pool.

This hotel has 84 rooms and is located in 7 ropani area. There are four suite rooms, seven premium rooms, twelve super deluxe rooms, and sixty-one deluxe rooms.

KMC Group has stated that it opened the hotel to attract international tourists while also helping to the national economy by strengthening foreign exchange reserves.

With plans to go for an IPO soon, this hotel is confident of becoming an important milestone in the tourism service sector of Nepal.
