KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Hard Rock Cafe Kathmandu has unveiled its latest venture, a merchandise store located in Patan, marking a significant step in its expansion plans across Nepal.
The store's opening, which took a swift four months to complete, reflects the company's confidence in the local market and its ambitions for growth. It was also followed by an enchanting dance performance reflecting the vibrant culture of Patan.
Narayan Subedi, the Assistant General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Kathmandu, highlighted the company's strategic vision, stating, "We want to expand our business, so we plan on opening a lot of properties around Nepal. We see the potential in both Hard Rock and Patan, so this is the perfect project."
The new store, featuring exclusive Hard Rock merchandise, is already drawing attention. Subedi shared that the success of the Kathmandu outlet, particularly in retail, has fueled the company's expansion strategy. Plans are in place to open additional locations in key areas such as Thamel and Boudha, with intentions to reach other cities in the near future.
As the third-largest fast food franchise globally, Hard Rock Cafe is renowned not only for its culinary offerings and live music but also for its commitment to social causes. The brand's unique activities like YMCA dance performances and birthday celebrations, continue to attract a diverse clientele.
