Soaring High: Bhimbandh Kalika Paragliding Takes Flight from January 18, 2025

TANAHUN, JAN 17:Tanahun's Bhimbandh Kalika Paragliding is set to open its wings to adventurers starting this Saturday, January 18. Offering mind boggling take-off from Birthung Hill, just 10 km from Khairentar, the journey promises cultural encounters and scenic beauty along the way.

Adventurers will marvel at sweeping vistas of the Dhaulagiri to Lamjung ranges, the Seti River, verdant forests, charming villages, and even a nearby dam. Scheduled flights between 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM offer up to 30 minutes of airtime for Rs. 8,500 per flight. Landing spots include Siddha Cave and Denmark Chowk, with provisions for solo and tandem flights. 

The experience is further enriched by spectacular sunrise and sunset views in this hidden gem of Tanahun.

Kamal Shrestha, Managing Director, reflected on the journey, stating, “It wasn’t easy to navigate the registration and processing, but our team persevered. With Pokhara Airport's approval, we are ready to offer an unforgettable experience in the skies.”
