Sikles hotels and homestays to provide discounts during Maghe Sankranti

POKHARA, Jan 15:Tourists visiting Sikles for the Maghe Sankranti Fair will get 10 to 20% discounts on homestay and hotel accommodations. The Sikles Youth Club organized the discount during a press meet held in Pokhara on Sunday. The fair will be held from Magh 1 to 4, with the goal of increasing rural tourism, according to Sikles Youth Club President Bholaman Gurung.

He stated that the fair was intended to maintain the Gurung community's art, culture, and customs while also promoting sports. Sikles is also home to the Kapuche Glacier Lake, Kori hiking, and the Kholasonthar trekking route, all of which are tourist attractions. The organizers estimate that the fair would generate Rs 1.3 million in revenue.
