More than 400 National Life agents receive technical training from India

KATHMANDU:National Life Insurance Company's agents and marketing employees were trained in a variety of disciplines in Kolkata by visiting faculty members from the Insurance Institute of India, College of Insurance.

The company has provided training in Kolkata to agents and marketing staff who have fulfilled the specified target and qualified to participate in the training program from all over Nepal.

VK Nayak, Principal of the College of Insurance, chaired the training, which was attended by other visiting faculty members such as J. Sen, Mihir Goswami, Anirban Shah, and others who delivered instruction on a variety of themes.

The College's Principal, VK Nayak, formally opened the program and welcomed the training participants. He expressed his profound gratitude to the company for offering the opportunity to transport so many agents from Nepal to India and engage in rigorous training.

Mihir Goswami, the program's trainer, taught participants about inventive prospecting. He demonstrated through many examples how success in the insurance industry can be achieved by pursuing fresh ideas. Anirban Shah, another trainer, taught them about the business continuity cycle as well. He provided training by presenting various examples of how agents can sell insurance by taking into account the customers' interests, business, family situation, and income, as well as how the business can continue if they maintain a strong relationship with their customers even after the sale.

The college principal and trainers gave training certificates to over 400 firm agents and marketing personnel who attended the program, which was led by Vivek Sharma, the company's marketing department head, and Sushil Pratap Rana, the agency department head.
