Siddhartha Cottage in Nepalgunj hosts Mo:Mo Festival

KATHMANDU, Jan 10:The second edition of the Momo Festival began Thursday at Siddhartha Cottage in Nepalgunj.

More than 40 types of Momo will be available for tasting at the festival, whichwill be held until January 11.

Siddhartha arranged the first Momo Festival, which took place from January 25 to 27 last year.

The festival will feature performances by various artists along with tastings of various types of momo.

On the festival's first day, local acts were given priority. On Thursday, Mohini Dilip Poudel's team performed a dance. The second day featured a performance by Nepalgunj's local live band 'The Samay', as well as a mammoth creating and cooking competition.

Those interested can enter the competition for free.

On the third and final day of the event, a community culinary competition will be held alongside performances by national and local performers.

It is said that national artist Pashupati Sharma will perform on that day.

Siddhartha Cottage Nepalgunj is the restaurant with the largest space in Nepalgunj.

The Siddhartha Group operates the four-star luxury Hotel Siddhartha in Nepalgunj, as well as 30 locations across the country, including hotels, resorts, and cafes.

Siddhartha will open Siddhartha Cottages in Dhangadhi and Yogikuti, Butwal, within the next two months.

The company has also informed us that it is preparing to open a star hotel in Bahraich, India.
