World’s Longest and highest Megatroll Successfully Tested at ‘The Cliff’ in Kushma

KATHMANDU, Jan 08:‘The Cliff’ in Kushma, an emerging hub for adventure tourism, is set to launch the world’s longest and highest megatroll.

Standing at a height of 255 meters, the megatroll is of 1,228 meters in length. According to Raju Karki, Chairman of The Cliff, it can accommodate up to three people at once, allowing participants to ride solo or alongside a partner.  The megatroll will reach speeds of up to 140 km per hour.

In addition to this latest attraction, The Cliff already offers the world’s second-highest bungee jump, swing, sky cycling, and a fully equipped resort. The introduction of the megatroll aims to further enhance the adventure tourism experience.

“The megatroll falls under the category of extreme adventure activities, blending elements of a zipline and a rollercoaster,” said Karki. “We began construction a year ago, and we are working to launch it within two weeks. The final phase of testing is currently underway.”

Karki said that the ride offers breathtaking views of the Kaligandaki River. “We are thrilled to provide this new experience for visitors. We believe this attraction will not only boost tourism but also contribute to economic and social development in the region” he added.
