NAC should be strong enough to control increase in air ticket prices: Tourism Minister Pandey

KATHMANDU, Jan 07: Badri Prasad Pandey, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has issued a one-month deadline to Executive Chairman Yubaraj Adhikari to rectify the issues at Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

Tourism Minister Pandey addressed the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives that he has set a one-month deadline for NAC to work on a reform plan.

Similarly, Minister Pandey stated that the NAC should be powerful enough to limit the rise in domestic and international aviation ticket rates.

He stated that Nepal's skies must be safe and trustworthy, and everyone's cooperation is necessary.
