Guna Group's five-star 'Hotel The Massif' to be managed by France's Royal Tulip
KATHMANDU, Jan 08:Royal Tulip of France, which manages luxury hotels all over the world, has expanded into Kathmandu. The five-star hotel 'The Massif' in Gwarko, Lalitpur, built by Guna Group, will be managed by France's Royal Tulip.
The Louvre Hotels Group's luxury five-star hotel brand Royal Tulip, which is the second largest in Europe and has 11 different brands in the global market, has reached a deal with Ajay Bakaya, Director of Louvre Hotels India, and Rajendra Shakya, Executive Chairman of The Massif Hotel.
Royal Tulip is set to take over administration of its second hotel in Nepal. Royal Tulip had previously taken over administration of KTM Group's hotel in Sauraha, Chitwan. Royal Tulip plans to open Hotel The Massif fully within the following six months.
According to Guna Group Chairman Shakya, the management deal with Royal Tulip, France's second largest worldwide chain, will be a significant milestone for Nepal. He stated that the hotel, which is presently preparing to operate the conference and seminar halls in the first phase, will also open the rooms within the next three months.
Tulip Director Bakaya stated that the massif is the 23rd hotel under the Royal Tulip brand at the Louvre. 'This hotel will be suitable for hospitality, particularly conferences and wedding ceremonies,' Director Vakaya stated. 'We will focus on training human resources to give high-level service.'
Group Director Diprash Shakya stated that the hotel's major goal is to deliver not only luxury but also a unique experience. This hotel is the first of this group, which is expanding its investment in housing, shopping malls, airlines, and media industries.
Hotel General Manager Balram Pathak stated that we will proceed to build a new standard in worldwide hospitality. We have prioritized the guest experience over the destination, stated General Manager Pathak.
The hotel, which is being built at a cost of more than Rs 6.51 billion, includes 302 rooms. The hotel will offer presidential, suite, luxury, and standard-level rooms. Every room will have luxury and Nepalese uniqueness.
The hotel, located near Tribhuvan International Airport on the Kathmandu Valley Ring Road, spans 16 ropanis in area . The hotel is located two kilometers from Patan Durbar Square. The hotel will feature a swimming pool, a fitness club, and a banquet hall.
