Suggestions to enhance NAC for growth in tourism and extending services in the resource market
KATHMANDU, Jan 06:Various tourism-related organizations have urged improving services in important source markets, including modernizing Nepal Airlines Corporation, in order to develop and expand Nepal's tourism industry.
During a meeting with Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, various tourism-related organizations suggested extending services in important source markets, including modernizing Nepal Airlines Corporation, to help promote and expand Nepal's tourism industry.
Similarly, they congratulated Minister Pandey for the Council of Ministers' acceptance of the bill dividing Nepal's Civil Aviation Authority into a service provider and regulatory organization.
They stated that if this bill is ratified by parliament, there will be an increase in tourists from Europe visiting Nepal.
They also suggested promoting tourism in the worldwide market through the Nepal Tourism Board in order to develop tourism.
Similarly, it is stated that the issue with helicopter flights in Lukla may pose problems in tourism.
During the debate, Minister Pandey reiterated his commitment to resolving the issues in the tourist sector and asked for assistance with policy reforms.
It has also been decided to hold such debates every month.
