Global IME Bank unveils its 'fonepay Network QR Code Merchant' scheme

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited has announced a scheme targeting QR code merchants affiliated with the fonepay network.

The bank added that the plan, unveiled on the occasion of its 18th anniversary, provides service recipients with the opportunity to win cashback, smartphones, and a set term of Rs 100,000. This program will be in effect from January 2 until January 31.

During the plan duration, merchants linked with Global IME Bank who have not yet transacted will receive a cashback of Rs 180 or more via fonepay QR code, and 18 lucky merchants will receive a cashback of Rs 180 per day.

Every week, one of the merchants who accept QR code payments will win a smartphone gift.

As a bonus, one lucky merchant will receive a fixed term account plan worth Rs 100,000 for a three-month period.
