Lekhnath Festival begins from January 2

POKHARA, Dec 07:The Lekhnath Festival will take held in Talchowk, Pokhara-27 from January 2 to 14. The Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize the festival, which will have 336 vendors.

Binod Shrestha, the association's president and principal festival coordinator, stated that plans are on to commemorate the event this year with various activities while adapting and altering the festival, which began with the Orange Festival 19 years ago. He explained that the celebration was organized with the goal of gathering people from all castes and languages together in one location and identifying the Lekhnath region.

President Shrestha stated that the festival aims to promote local agricultural and industrial products, the market and recognition of handicrafts, micro, cottage, and small industries, the transfer of necessary knowledge, skills, and technology, and the emphasis on entrepreneurship and creativity.
