184 flights in a day to Lukla

KATHMANDU, Nov 11:On Thursday, one hundred and eighty-four flights were conducted at Solukhumbu's Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, there were 184 helicopter and fixed-wing flights at Lukla Airport.

According to the office's head, Umesh Panthi, 152 helicopters and 32 fixed-wing flew on Thursday as the weather improved. According to Panthi, Tara Airlines and Summit Air have made 12/12 flights, while Sita Air has made eight flights.

Dwarika Prasad Ghimire, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office in Solukhumbu, said that 532 tourists, including 396 foreigners and 136 Nepalis, arrived in Lukla by flight on Thursday. According to him, 336 foreigners and 126 Nepalis arrived Lukla, while a total of 462 tourists departing via air service.

According to police data, 303 foreigners returned from Namche on Thursday, while 475 foreign tourists visited Everest Base Camp.
