Agreement between SCT and MyPay for payment services

KATHMANDU:Smart Choice Technologies (SCT), a payment system operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, and payment service provider Smart Card Nepal (MyPay wallet), have inked a payment service operation agreement using Smart QR.

After the agreement, MyPay wallet users will be able to load their wallets via Smart QR and make payments to merchants and entrepreneurs participating in various trades, while companies will also be able to use the Smart QR facility for QR payment.

SCT CEO Manoj Ghimire and MyPay CEO Manoj Mehta have inked a service operation agreement.

The company believes that transactions will be easier for merchants, including MyPay wallet customers, because the amount paid through Smart QR will be quickly sent to the merchant's account.
