Nepal Telecom provided financial assistance to flood victims
KATHMANDU:Nepal Telecom has provided 1.2 crore rupees in financial assistance to flood victims.
According to Nepal Telecom, the funds have been deposited into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
The managing director of the company, Sangeeta Pahadi Aryal, handed over the letter informing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli that the money had been put in the fund.
The present in the program Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, Secretary of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Radhika Aryal, and senior personnel from Nepal Telecom.
Floods, landslides, and flooding occurred throughout the country, especially the Kathmandu Valley, as a result of the heavy rain from Bhadra 10th to 12th.
