Pathao Nepal Car Rental launched

KATHMANDU:Pathao Nepal, a ride-sharing platform, has announced a new feature called 'Pathao Car Rental.' This service will comprise cabs registered with Pathao Car Lite.

Suraksha Hamal, the company's director, stated that this service, which launched in Kathmandu, allows travelers to arrive or return to many areas throughout Nepal for short or long travel by booking according to their needs.

Customers must reserve the rental service at least one hour in advance, with a maximum booking length of seven days. According to the company, the purpose of this service is to make long-distance travel and sightseeing more convenient.

Customers can select between a 'Round Trip' or a 'Drop' service, which allows them to travel within any city in Nepal with the same car and driver.

Hamal stated that this service will make customers journeys easier while increasing earning chances for drivers.

Rental trips, like all of Pathao's other services, come with insurance. In addition, a 24-hour call center will be accessible to help with any rental-related concerns.

After booking the service through Pathao's mobile app and accepting the ride, the customer can view the trip information within the app. He stated that this service is in line with the slogan 'Moving Nepal'.
