Yoga Festival 2024 concluded in Pokhara

KATHMANDU, Oct 21:The Yoga Festival 2024 has concluded in Pokhara. The Hotel Association Nepal (HAN), Hotel Association Nepal Gandaki Province, Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal, and Purna Yoga Retreat Center collaborated to hold a yoga festival on Wednesday, October 16th.

HAN believes that such a festival has been planned for the first time in Nepal and will benefit the tourism industry.

Sajan Shakya, General Secretary of HAN, stated that the festival, which ended on Wednesday, will highlight the potential of yoga tourism in the country. He explained that the program was designed for tourists who come to Nepal for meetings and weddings, wellness and yoga, trekking, and travel.

In addition to Nepalese, well-known international performers performed at the Purna Yoga Retreat Center in Pokhara.

Shiva Prasad Timalsina, Chairman of Pokhara Ward No. 18,  Bharat Raj Parajuli, central member of HAN , Hari Sharma Gaire, Chairman of Gandaki Han and officials, Laxman Subedi, Chairman of Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal, Krishna Acharya, Chairman of Pokhara TAAN, Kishore Dahal, Chairman of Pokhara NATTA, Taranath Pahari, Chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council, and more than 60 hotel representatives were in attendance. 

In a statement, the HAN stated that, although the program's four-day schedule, it had to be concluded in a single day for particular reasons.
