Trip Turbo launches a mobile app for booking air tickets and adventure activities

KATHMANDU:The online travel aggregator (OTA) platform 'Trip Turbo' has come into operation. Through this comprehensive online travel marketplace, customers can get various services related to travel and tours from the mobile app.

According to Shikher Prasai, founder of Trip Turbo, anyone can get facilities such as air ticket, bus tickets and hotel booking and activities related to adventure through the app.

For adventure tourism, tickets can be booked for rafting, bungee, paragliding, hot air balloon, zip line, ice skating and many other activities. It is said that users can get up to NPR 6000 discount while booking Activities from trip Turbo.

Trip Turbo is a sister company of Nataraj Tours and Travels, which has been active in the tourism sector for more than five decades.

It is said that when booking air tickets through Trip Turbo, users will get a discount of Rs 300 on the first ticket and Rs 200 on subsequent tickets.

Trip Turbo app, which was launched on beta from January 2024, is now fully operational. While taking any service through the app, payment can be made through Esewa, Khalti, Mobile Banking and International Cards (Visa, Master Card, Union Pay, American Express).

According to Prasai, various services have been provided through the app with the aim of reducing the distance between the service provider and the customer, providing more support to the tourism sector and contributing to the conservation of Nepali culture and history.

It is said that international flight tickets, international hotel booking and other facilities will be added on this platform in the near future.
