Deepak Raj Joshi appointed CEO of Nepal Tourism Board

KATHMANDU, Sep 05:Deepak Raj Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Tourism Board.

Joshi was appointed as the CEO by the Board of Directors meeting held on Thursday.Joshi was selected as the CEO in an open competition with 20 other candidates.

Three candidates were shortlisted by a three-member subcommittee led by Indu Ghimire, joint secretary of the ministry of culture, tourism, and civil aviation. The candidates were Deepak Raj Joshi, Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato, and former CEO Dhananjay Regmi.

Joshi served as CEO for one term, from December 2015 until January 2020. Joshi has been appointed CEO for four years, an official of the Board of Directors informed.
