Dial 198 to get Telecom's FTTH and NTTV packages

KATHMANDU:Nepal Telecom has added the facility to change packages of high-speed Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Internet service via customer care number 198.

Users of Nepal Telecom's mobile and telephone services can dial 198 to register for a FTTH connection and adjust the FTTH service packages to suit their needs.

Similarly, Nepal Telecom has made arrangements for consumers of their television service (NTTV) to purchase basic and premium packages based on their needs using the Alacarta fee structure via the same customer care number 198.

According to Telecom spokesperson Kishore Kumar Bhatt, users can subscribe to and update their Alakarta system television packages  by dialing 198.

The company believes that by providing this service, customers will no longer need to visit Nepal Telecom's counter to update their FTTH service package, saving them time and labor.
