Captain's rescue from plane crash site

KATHMANDU, July 24:The captain has been rescued from the location where the Saurya Airlines plane crashed.

Manish Shakya, 37, the rescued captain. Spokesman and SSP Dineshraj Mainali of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office Ranipokhari said that he was sent to KMC Hospital in Sinamangal for treatment.

It has been learned that 19 people are on Saurya Airlines' 9N-AME flight.

The crash occurred while the plane was flying. More details are yet to come.
